It seems appropriate to drop in and post a year-end wrap up.  I have been a busy quilting bee but have not published all the projects. Really bad on my part.  I have completed the three quilt tops and one should appear here after the new year.  Hand piecing has dominated my time as the portability fits my lifestyle.  I am almost done hand quilting a fan quilt for my sis-in-laws wedding gift. It is five years late but still should be welcome.

As for New Years resolutions, I am not great at keeping them no matter how simple.   Perhaps repeating this years is a good start toward consistency. So here goes the list:

1. Blog weekly.  My husband gave me an iPad for Christmas which should make posting easier. No more sneaking to the desktop to post as I can do it all on the tablet.

2.  Finish three tops. At this point I am aiming toward a Mariners Compass, a sampler of some sort and a pickled clamshell.  Another goal is to make major progress on my Dear Jane.  Quilters board is hosting a sew a long which I have joined. It should last for 18 months but since I have some blocks completed, I might be able to finish early.

3.  Handquilt at least one quilt for myself ( not a client) which will most likely be for my sister.  Like the fan quilt mentioned above, her wedding quilt is still in my studio and she was married three weeks before the SIL.   I may tear it apart and reset the blocks. She has changed her decorating scheme and resetting it will make it fit into the current digs.
